Christmas List, by Lakeside Digital

Email scanlystudio.support@proton.me and a person will answer. Please say which phone you are on and what you were doing when it went wrong. It usually saves a round trip.

Managing or cancelling your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so they are cancelled on your phone rather than in the app. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Christmas List → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Christmas List → Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out.

If you bought the lifetime option, there is nothing to cancel: it is a one-time purchase and it does not renew.

I paid but the app still asks me to

Tap Restore on the plan screen. That asks the App Store or Google Play for purchases made with the Apple Account or Google Account currently signed in on the device, so if you bought it on a different account, sign into that one first. If Restore still finds nothing, email us with the receipt Apple or Google sent you and we will sort it out.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by the store you bought from. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple Account you bought with. On Android, request one in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history. We cannot issue a refund on the store's behalf, but tell us what went wrong anyway: it is how the app gets better.

Reminders

Christmas List can remind you 14 days before Christmas. Turn it on or off and change how early it comes under Settings → Reminders. If nothing arrives, check that notifications for Christmas List are allowed in the iPhone Settings app.

Printing or sharing your list

Under Settings → Print or share PDF you get your whole list, with budgets, people and gifts, as a PDF to print with AirPrint or send to someone.

Moving to a new iPhone

Your list lives only on the phone you entered it on. There is no account or cloud copy on our side, so it travels with a normal iPhone backup and restore (iCloud or computer). You can also use Settings → Export list file on the old phone and Import list file on the new one.

Deleting your data

Your list is stored on your phone and nowhere else, so deleting the app deletes them. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
